Shooters recognize shooters. James Colina, Jr, aka @jimmysnightmarket, is a shooter. We’ve crossed paths at outdoor runs with Sunday Washed Club. A designer, illustrator and animator, Colina worked with various design firms that produced graphics for Google Play and Youtube, before eventually landing his breakthrough in sports as a graphic designer for MLB in 2022. Two years prior, he launched his own design brand Jimmy’s Night Market, which specializes in sports and sneaker art and apparel, a concept that came to him after nearly three years of living abroad in various Asian countries like Taiwan, the Philippines, Japan, and Hong Kong. Before all that, he was a kid from Florida. This is his story of the court where he first fell in love with game of basketball. As you’ll see, it was more than a love of the game that he found. It was a sense of self.
